Impact100 Whakatipu Grants
Our grants are a little different.
Firstly, the amount we have to grant changes each year depending on the number of women who donate to Impact100 Whakatipu.
Our grants are designed to be large and impactful so we only accept applications from organisations who are applying for at least $100,000.
Finally, the decision on who should receive a grant rests with the women of Impact100, who decide by a voting process.
Our key criteria are:
-
Your innovative project or your capacity building programme needs to be at least $100,000
-
You must be a registered charity or incorporated society
-
The beneficiaries of the work of your organisation must be predominantly in the Whakatipu area.
-
Your work needs to address a critical need in the Whakatipu
If you have any questions about your eligibility to apply at any time, please contact us at impact100@45south.org.
Expressions of Interest for 2026 will open on 21 May 2026 after our Big Reveal.
The Selection Process:
Impact100 grants committee is a team of women from diverse backgrounds and experience who come together to assess each application.
They are looking for applications that support our vision and clearly align with our values.
The Impact100 Grants Committee reviews the Expressions of Interest and invites all eligible organisations to apply. Once the full applications are received, each charity will have the opportunity to spend time with the grant committee to explain more about their application, and answer any questions.
The finalist charities present to all the Impact supporters who vote to decide which charity or charities they would like to receive the funds.
All the funds received in that year are granted the same year.
